According to the Northern Regional Hydrometeorological Station, a stable cold air mass affected Hanoi on the morning of October 25, bringing mostly cloudy skies and light rain in some areas. The weather will be cool with lows ranging from 19°C to 21°C.

By midday and afternoon on October 25, cloud cover will decrease and there will be periods of sunshine. Northeasterly winds at level 2 will bring mild conditions with daytime highs between 23°C and 26°C.

From October 26 to 30, a weak reinforcement of cold air is expected before stabilizing and gradually weakening. The capital will see sunny days and dry nights with northeasterly winds at level 2. It will remain chilly at night and early morning and mild during midday and afternoon.

Between October 31 and November 1, the cold air will strengthen again. Hanoi will be mostly cloudy with scattered light rain but skies will clear by midday and afternoon with sunshine returning. Northeasterly winds will increase to level 2–3 and the weather will be cold at night and early morning with mountainous areas turning colder.

In relation to the heavy rain in central Vietnam, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting reported on October 25 that from now until the evening of October 26, provinces and cities from Thua Thien Hue to Quang Ngai and the eastern parts of Gia Lai and Dak Lak will experience moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms with rainfall totals between 80 and 170 millimeters and some coastal areas exceeding 300 millimeters.

From the evening of October 26 to the evening of October 27, areas from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai will continue to have moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms with rainfall between 50 and 100 millimeters and some places exceeding 200 millimeters. The heavy rain in this region may persist until the end of October 2025.

Central provinces and cities are advised to remain alert to possible flooding in low-lying areas, urban zones and industrial parks as well as flash floods on small rivers and streams and landslides on steep slopes.
