The PM has ratified the master planning for Van Phong Economic Zone in the coastal province of Khanh Hoa by 2030.


The interdisciplinary economic zone focuses on the development of an international container entrepôt seaport, oil refinery industry, tourism, services, industry, aquatic cultivation and other industries.
It also plays a leading role in attracting investment and developing economy in surrounding regions andthe whole country.
Earlier, the PM on March 11, 2005 passed a development plan for the Van Phong economic zone by 2020.
