VCSC leapfrogs SSI to top HoSE’s brokerage market share in Q4/2018
SSI remained the largest broker in the HoSE for the whole year, reaching a market share of 18.7%, followed by HSC and VCSC with 11.24% and 10.95%, respectively.

The fourth and fifth places belong to VNDirect and MB Securities (MBS), with market shares of 6.36% and 5.41%, respectively.
However, SSI remained the largest broker in the HoSE for the whole year, reaching a brokerage market share of 18.7%, followed by HSC and VCSC with 11.24% and 10.95%, respectively.
On December 27, 2018, a group of investment funds managed by Dragon Capital have purchased nearly 113,000 shares of SSI Securities Corporation (SSI), to become the latter's major shareholder.
In addition to SSI, Dragon Capital is currently a major shareholder in Ho Chi Minh City Securities Corp (HSC) and Viet Capital Securities Company (VCSC), holding stakes of 30.27% and 8%, respectively.
