Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Doan Toan congratulates Economic and Urban Newspaper
On the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People`s Committee Nguyen Doan Toan paid a courtesy visit to the Economic and Urban Newspaper on June 20 afternoon.
On behalf of the City's leaders, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Doan Toan praised the growth of the Economic and Urban Newspaper in recent years.
Toan stressed that in 2016 as well as the in the first 6 months of 2017, the Capital's economy continues to develop, economic growth is maintained, culture, society, education, healthcare, security and defense are strengthened and stabilized.
In that development, there is a great contribution of the press agencies of the Central Newspapers in the area and the press agencies of the City, in which there is the the Economic and Urban Newspaper.
Vice Chairman Nguyen Doan Toan said: "After 18 years of formation and development, the city leaders have always noticed and made efforts for development. Over time, the newspaper has gradually entered the hearts of readers, the people of the Capital and people throughout the country. Especially, the newspaper has followed closely the guidelines and policies of the City's Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee."
The newspaper has timely discovered problems from the practice, to reflect readers in the area, from which, the City has direction in the direction of the executive. The newspaper has been assigned by the City to organize high-quality events and competitions such as the competition on writing traffic safety, the campaign of "Vietnamese people use Vietnamese goods."
In addition, the Vice Chairman also suggested that in the coming time, the Economics & Urban Newspaper should focus on the economic development of the city and at the mean time raising the aspirations of the people, organizations and businesses.
"The Economics & Urban Newspaper must be one of the fastest, hottest propaganda to direct the management of the City towards readers and to the people," said the Vice Chairman.
