Men’s Journal has announced its list of most remarkable travel destinations where your dollar goes far.
Vietnam has been ranked fourth among the most remarkable travel destinations where your dollar goes far, according to a list released by Men’s Journal, a US monthly men’s lifestyle magazine.
Men’s Journal has some words of advice for travelers that a week in any Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City luxe hotel will cost you the same a night in any western capital.
And those are the costlier parts, you can cruise along on your motorbike rentals or visit the stunning rice paddies for next to pennies, in addition to eating some of the best, most flavorful food in the world. A night in a five-star Ha Long Bay hotel is less than US$100, as is a stay on the white-sand, palm-dotted island of Phu Quoc.
Hungary tops the list, followed by Morocco, Berlin (Germany), Vietnam, South Africa, Colombia, Turkey, Mexico.
Earlier, News Nation, an Indian newspaper, has named Vietnam the number one destination among the top cheapest countries you can visit without having to empty you bank account.
News Nation suggesed that the mountain resort of Da Lat in the central highlands is the perfect feast. Untouched and undeveloped Vietnam is a super cheap travel destination, as well as a beautiful country of lush mountain scapes and sweeping white sands.
Other places to visit while in this beautiful country can be included Hanoi. The place also retains some of the French food culture where you will find some great patisseries producing croissants. Have a pint of Vietnam’s most popular brew, Bia Hoi and stop over in one of the eccentric fairytale rooms of the Crazy House.
The number of foreign tourists to Vietnam in the first seven months of 2018 is estimated at 9.08 million, a year-on-year rise of 25.4%, the General Statistics Office (GSO) has announced.
In 2018, Vietnam aims to serve 16 million foreign tourists and 80 million domestic tourists, according to General Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) Nguyen Van Tuan.
