Vietnam Expo opens up trade opportunities

The 13th Vietnam International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo 2015) opened in HCM City on December 2 involving 468 exhibitors from 20 countries and territories.

The four-day exhibition which is expecting to draw 20,000 visitors will be a gateway for foreign businesses to research and penetrate Vietnam market.

Many businesses from the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan and China have regularly taken part in the annual event for 10 consecutive years.
 

 

Under the framework of the Vietnam Expo, the Taiwan Bureau of Foreign Trade organises the Taiwan Excellence Campaign to introduce their leading products, such as technological solutions, household utensils, healthcare products and technologies to Vietnam customers.

Tang Ming Hui, Director of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) office in Vietnam, said this year TAITRA chose 15 key markets to launch the Taiwan Excellence Campaign. Vietnam remains its target as Vietnamese customers have active response to high-quality Taiwanese products.

Vietnam Expo also lured a number of domestic businesses, particularly in mobile information.

Vice Director of MobiFone Mai The Hung said Vietnam Expo promises to bring about a number of opportunities for domestic businesses.
