A set of stamp named “50 years implementing President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament (1969-2019)” includes a stamp and a miniature sheet designed by painter Tran The Vinh.

The stamp depicts President Ho Chi Minh working at his desk and cited the last sentence of his will: “…My last aspiration is that our whole Party and people stay united to strive to build a Vietnam of peace, unity, independence, democracy, and prosperity…”

The stamp is also printed with the national flag in the corner and the house on stilts in the Presidential Palace.

Meanwhile, the miniature sheet conveys the unity and the development of the country through the image of President Ho Chi Minh conducting the choir singing “Unity” song (Ket Doan) with the Communist Party’s flag and images of Vietnam’s achievements throughout the periods of unity, Doi Moi (Reform), integration and development.

The stamp costs VND4,000 (US$0.17) and the miniature sheet is VND15,000 (US$0.65), which are distributed at the public post office network from August 27 to June 30, 2021.

Besides, the special calendar to welcome the Spring or New year of 2020 themed “President Ho Chi Minh lives forever with the Homeland Vietnam” was also launched by Vietnam Post and Ho Chi Minh Museum.

The image of President Ho Chi Minh portrayed on the calendar is lively and creative depicting him working with different key sectors and industries including politics, economy, culture, education, the Navy, as well as national defense and security.
