The Telegraph has announced its list of world’s top 10 curious places you must visit at least once in your lifetime.

The Telegraph, a UK national daily broadsheet newspaper, has just named Vietnam the number one destination among the 10 best curious places you must visit at least once in your lifetime.

According to Don Parrish who has been to all 193 United Nations member countries and seen more than 500 World Heritage Sites, one of the amazing thing is that Vietnamese motorcyclists self organize busy intersections without traffic lights or traffic police.
Parrish emphasized his biggest major discovery was how entrepreneurial the Vietnamese were. “I was also mesmerized by their attitude to not focus on the war that had killed so many people, but to focus their energy on the future,” he added.
On the list, Vietnam is followed by North Korea, Iwo Jima (Japan), Socotra (Yemen), the Pitcairn Islands, Bosaso (Somalia), the South Pole, Mount Athos (Greece), Tristan da Cunha, Marion Island (South Africa).
Earlier, MoneyWise, a UK digital personal finance publication, has just named Vietnam the number one destination among the 10 best countries in the world that you can visit in a modicum of comfort without breaking the bank.
“You'll be amazed what you can get in Vietnam for just US$1. No, really, US$1 will get you a couple of beers. It’ll also get you a bowl of delicious pho (noodle soup). Five bucks will get you a room for the night,” MoneyWise wrote.
But the star of the show has to be the city of Hoi An in central Vietnam, where you can get yourself a custom-made suit — something that would set you back at least a grand in New York — for just US$100.
The number of foreign tourists to Vietnam in the first seven months of 2018 is estimated at 9.08 million, a year-on-year rise of 25.4%, the General Statistics Office (GSO) has announced.
In 2018, Vietnam aims to serve 16 million foreign tourists and 80 million domestic tourists, according to General Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) Nguyen Van Tuan.
