At the recent AFC U17 Asian Cup 2025 finals, Vietnam was drawn into Group B with Japan, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Despite facing strong opponents, the Vietnamese team showed resilience, remaining undefeated in all three group-stage matches with 1-1 draws.

Their performance left a strong and positive impression on fans, especially their impressive draw against the defending champions, Japan.
