Vietnam to produce screens for iPhone and iPad

The Hanoitimes - The Taiwanese Group Wintek has signed a contract to lease land to produce high-tech touch screens for iPhones and iPads at the Quang Chau industrial zone in the northern province of Bac Ninh.

Duriing the first phase, Wintek plans to invest nearly US$100 million and employs almost 300,000 workers.

Wintek is one of the two touch screen producers for iPads in the world using the latest technology and their products are very popular in many countries.
