President Sang also thanked Saudi Arabia for backing Vietnam’s bid to join the United Nations Human Rights Council for the 2014-2016 term, and voiced his hope that the country will continue to support Vietnam’s candidacy to become a member of the UN Socio-Economic Council and acquire a non-permanent seat at the UN Security Council.
With great economic cooperation potential between the two sides, the President suggested the two countries need to put forth measures to multiply the current two-way trade turnover.
