The Japanese government has announced the appointment of popular singer Noo Phuoc Thinh as its goodwill ambassador in Vietnam to promote tourist visits to the East Asian island nation. The 28-year-old singer received a document of appointment yesterday (June 9) from the Japan National Tourism Organization evidencing his selection to the honorary position.
