Vietnamese youngsters, tourism professinals to tour tropical city Sanya
The Sanya Tourism Commission (China) has just launched the 2025 tourism promotion campaign in Hanoi, marking a strategic step to expand Sanya's position on the world tourism map.

The program, called the Southeast Asia International Youth “Co-Creation” Tour, is part of the “Host Global” initiative launched by the Sanya Tourism Board.
It encourages participants to become “cultural ambassadors” for Sanya, promoting sustainable tourism and strengthening bilateral cooperation.
Wu Xiaolin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director General of the Sanya Tourism Board, described Sanya as a young, stylish and high-quality international destination, offering tropical beaches, rainforests, duty-free shopping, cultural activities, luxury resorts, sports facilities, and family attractions.
Direct flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City further enhance Sanya’s appeal to Vietnamese travelers, particularly those who enjoy nature, resorts, and health tourism, he said.
To boost its profile in Vietnam, the Sanya Tourism Board recently hosted a promotion event in Hanoi, bringing together Sanya delegates and Vietnamese tourism partners.
The event highlighted Sanya’s attractions and positioned the city as a modern destination for all kinds of visitors.
At the event, the Sanya Tourism Board presented its policies and market opportunities, while airline and tourism businesses introduced flight routes, hotels and new experiences.
A notable moment during the event was the launch of the Product Lab, which brought together Sanya representatives and Vietnamese travel operators in a workshop format.
The lab allowed interactive discussions on tailoring tourism products and itineraries to Vietnamese preferences.
By combining the Product Lab, its participation in the 12th General Assembly of the Tourism Promotion Organization for Global Cities (TPO) and the “Host Global” initiative, Sanya strengthened its brand visibility, adapted products to the Vietnamese market and laid the foundation for long-term inbound tourism growth.
Xing Jiuqiang, Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, said tourism is a bridge of friendship between the two countries, especially as 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties and the Vietnam-China year of cultural exchange.
He stressed Sanya’s strengths as a leading coastal destination and praised Vietnam as an important source market.
