Vo Hoang Hai, a junior at HUS High School for Gifted Students, won four medals at Physics Olympiads in 2022, including two bronze medals at the Kazakhstan Physics Olympiad 2022 and the Asia-Pacific Physics Olympiad 2022. He won the silver medal at the 2022 Korea International Physics Olympiad.

Most notably, Hai won the gold medal at the 2022 International Physics Olympiad, becoming the first Vietnamese grade 10 student ever to win the competition.

He was also the youngest member of the Vietnamese National Physics Team to participate in an International Physics Olympiad.

Ngo Quy Dang, a freshman at Vietnam National University Hanoi's College of Science, was one of 10 contestants to win all 42 points in the 2022 International Mathematical Olympiad.

He also won first prize in the 31st Vietnam Student Olympiad in Computer Science (OLP'22), which concluded in early December 2022.

Singer Nguyen Thi Ngoc Ha (stage name Ha Myo) is an artist of the Vietnam National Music, Song and Dance Theater.

She is considered the first artist to combine Vietnamese folk music Xam with rap and electroacoustics.

Her performances not only preserve traditional music but also inspire and pave the way for other young Vietnamese artists to be more creative in their work.

Ha was selected among the outstanding members of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in 2022. She won the San Chien Giong Hat 2022 (The Battle of the Voices 2022) – a gameshow hosted by the VTV.

Other promising and outstanding young Vietnamese that live and work in Hanoi include Truong Thanh Tung, leader of the drug research team at Phenikaa University, Chu Duc Ha, lecturer at the Vietnam National University Hanoi’s University of Engineering and Technology, and Tran Xuan Bach, senior student of the HUS High School for Gifted Students.

On March 6, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union announced the top 10 outstanding Vietnamese youths who have made remarkable achievements in 2022, out of 20 people nominated.

The Outstanding Young Vietnamese is an award that honors those under 35 years old who have excelled in their work and studies.

The top 20 young names come from nine fields: education, science and innovation, production and manufacturing, entrepreneurship, national defense, social security, sports, arts, and community services.

The list consists of several popular names, including five-time Vietnamese Golden Ball winner Huynh Nhu, who currently plays for the Portuguese women's soccer team Lank FC.

The award serves as an encouragement to young people to improve their knowledge and skills, overcome difficulties and achieve remarkable results in work and study.

The award ceremony will be held on March 23, three days before the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union's founding day, which falls on March 26.
