Young voices carry confidence and responsibility as 14th National Party Congress begins

At the opening of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, young delegates across Vietnam express confidence, responsibility and expectations for breakthrough policies shaping the nation’s next development phase.

THE HANOI TIMES — The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam officially began on January 19. On its sideline, young delegates and grassroots representatives shared with The Hanoi Times, Lao Dong Thu Do (Capital Labor) Newspaper and Quan Doi Nhan Dan (People's Army) Newspaper their pride, sense of responsibility and expectations for the major decisions that will guide the country’s development in the coming term.

I feel honored to represent the youth of Ha Tinh at the 14th National Party Congress, carrying the trust and expectations of the younger generation for the nation’s future growth.

I hope the Congress will introduce breakthrough strategies that create strong momentum for development, while providing a favorable environment for young people to play a pioneering and creative role in national construction and defense.

I also expect the Congress to prioritize policies that attract high-quality human resources, especially in science, technology and digital transformation and to strengthen support for youth entrepreneurship and career development.

I believe the Congress will succeed and generate new confidence and momentum for Vietnam to move forward in this new era of development.

It is a great honor for me to represent the young generation of Phu Tho and young Party members at the 14th National Party Congress.

I expect the Congress to set clear strategic directions for the coming term, creating broader opportunities for young people and citizens to develop and contribute in the new era.

As science, technology and digital transformation advance rapidly, young people play an important role alongside the Party and Government, while also facing higher demands for responsibility, leadership and commitment.

I trust that the Congress will provide strong guidance to help young people fulfill their role and contribute effectively to national development.

As a Party member working in education, I see that the Congress documents continue to affirm education as a top national priority and a key driver of development.

In recent years, the Party and the State have invested strongly in education, training, science and technology, creating a foundation for comprehensive education reform and high-quality human resource development.

I hope the Congress will adopt effective solutions to accelerate digital transformation in education, narrow quality gaps between regions and ensure fairness in access to learning opportunities.

I also expect continued reform of curricula, textbooks and teaching methods in a coordinated manner to reduce pressure on teachers and students and to nurture well-rounded future citizens.

Local youth clearly recognize that the country’s achievements stem from the Party’s sound policies and steady leadership over many years.

Young people today feel proud to continue the revolutionary cause of President Ho Chi Minh and previous generations, while remaining aware of their responsibility for the nation’s future.

I hope the Congress will issue strategic and breakthrough policies that drive socio-economic growth, strengthen national defense and security and pay greater attention to youth development.

With appropriate support in education, entrepreneurship, digital transformation and rural development, young people can contribute more effectively to national progress.

As a young person living and working in Hanoi, I place high expectations on the 14th National Congress, which will shape the country’s development in the coming years.

In a rapidly changing society, young people hope Congress decisions will continue to place people at the center and bring practical, sustainable improvements in social welfare.

In Hanoi, young workers face growing pressures such as rising living costs and housing prices, while some welfare policies still need improvement.

I hope the Congress will provide breakthrough directions in housing, employment, healthcare, education and insurance, helping young people feel secure and committed to long-term contribution.

As a grassroots public employee and a Party member, I view the 14th Congress as an important milestone opening a new phase of national development.

I expect the Congress to set clear and bold directions for cultural development linked with cultural industries, making culture a strong foundation for sustainable growth.

At the local level, we work to preserve heritage and promote community cultural activities, but broader impact requires better policies and resources.

I hope the Congress will strengthen training, apply technology in cultural preservation and create favorable conditions for cultural industries to grow.

I welcomed the Politburo’s Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW on strengthening public healthcare with trust and optimism as a production worker.

In daily work, we face risks such as noise, dust and high labor intensity, so policies that protect workers’ health carry special meaning for us.

I hope the resolution will lead to stronger healthcare services, better insurance coverage and improved access for workers across the country.

When workers stay healthy, they can work more effectively and contribute more to businesses and society, supporting sustainable national development.
