About 10,000 people to attend "Culture Day for Peace"

The program will create a joyful and exciting atmosphere, arousing national pride in the glorious, heroic, peaceful and friendly historical tradition of Thang Long - Hanoi.

The Hanoi People's Committee has issued a plan for promoting "Culture Day for Peace" to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the capital's Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - 2024) and the 25th anniversary of "City for Peace" (July 16, 1999 - 2024).

The plan aims to showcase the "Cultural Festival for Peace" program as a great event for the people of the capital and the whole country, a highlight in the series of activities to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Liberation Day and the 1014th anniversary of King Ly Thai To's establishment of the capital at Thang Long Citadel.

The event will also honor and introduce the capital's typical cultural heritage, folk arts, traditional handicraft villages, and culinary culture of Hanoi; and promote the capital's UNESCO-honored cultural heritage values and culinary culture to locals and international friends.

The Hanoi People's Committee has asked the Department of Culture and Sports to provide information to the press for publication in mass media, social networks, and online sites, and to provide visual decorations around the venues of the events.

The Department of Information and Communication is requested to send information to the Department of Foreign Information and the Ministry of Information and Communication for publication on the National Foreign Information Portal of Vietnam.vn.

The event should be publicized on social networking sites and electronic information sites. The People's Committees of neighboring provinces and cities are welcome to support the live broadcast of the "Cultural Festival for Peace" on provincial and city radio and television.
