Tran Sy Thanh, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, said in a directive issued on November 1 that the decision for cancellation of fireworks reflects the city’s spirit of sharing and unity with residents of Hue city, Danang city, and Quang Ngai Province, which are suffering severe losses from prolonged floods.
