Azerbaijan debuts at ITE HCMC 2025 to boost tourism ties with Vietnam
Azerbaijan’s rich heritage, vibrant hospitality and strategic location open new opportunities for Vietnamese travelers and businesses.
THE HANOI TIMES — Azerbaijan is participating with its own national booth for the first time in history at the International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC 2025) that opened on September 4, marking an important step in strengthening bilateral relations with Vietnam .

Azerbaijan’s participation, represented by the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, as well as Absheron Hotel Group, MICE&Travel, and Wonderway Travel, promotes the country’s tourism potential at the event that brings together global tourism leaders, businesses, and government representatives.
In addition, senior officials from the Executive Power of Baku City are attending to further expand cooperation.
Azerbaijan’s debut at ITE HCMC 2025 is an important step in strengthening bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Vietnam in tourism, business, and cultural exchange. With its rich heritage, dynamic hospitality industry, and strategic location at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, Azerbaijan presents new opportunities for Vietnamese travelers and businesses alike.
The national booth highlights Azerbaijan’s tourism offerings while also creating space for B2B meetings and partnerships.
The participation of Azerbaijani tourism companies alongside government officials reflects the country’s strong commitment to building long-term cooperation with Vietnam and ASEAN partners.
This historic participation at ITE HCMC 2025 is expected to pave the way for new tourism initiatives, business exchanges and cultural projects that will deepen people-to-people ties and strengthen the friendship and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Vietnam.

The Philharmonic Garden is one of the historical gardens located in the center of Azerbaijan's capital city of Baku.
