Ba Dinh district attaches commemorative plaque to works celebrating 1010 years of Thang Long-Hanoi and the 17th Hanoi Party Committee's Congress

June 1st Kindergarten and Sao Mai Kindergarten are Ba Dinh district's projects to celebrate the 1010th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi.

Ba Dinh district held a ceremony to hang plaques to June 1st Kindergarten (Dien Bien ward) and Sao Mai Kindergarten (Vinh Phuc ward) on October 7 in celebration of the 1010th anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi and welcoming the 17th Hanoi Party Congress.


The June 1st Kindergarten renovation and improvement project, which is located at 147 Nguyen Thai Hoc street, Dien Bien ward, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi, was carried out on an area of 418.19 square meters. Two more floors were added to the existing facilities of the school's four-storey building. The new area is 720 square meters with eight classrooms and functional rooms, reaching the national standard for teaching and learning. The total investment of the project is more than VND14.7 billion (US$634,000).

The VND23.1 billion (US$ 998,000) Sao Mai Kindergarten Renovation and Improvement Project is implemented at 33 Vinh Phuc street, Vinh Phuc ward, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi. The school is upgraded from 3.5 floors to 5 floors, with 12 classrooms ensuring the effective operation of a semi-boarding school structure, as well as creating a comfortable environment for children. All classrooms, functional rooms, technical infrastructure and courtyards are also designed and arranged conveniently for children. The Sao Mai kindergarten project meets the national standard in education and learning.

 

Speaking at the ceremony of plaque attachment to these two projects, Mrs. Pham Thi Diem, Vice Chairwoman of People's Committee, Ba Dinh district said that the district had always paid attentions in creating the best conditions for education and training during the past years. Some schools have been built or renovated, aiming at improving the quality of comprehensive education for local children.
