Free wifi service and a media center have just been launched in the Central Highlands resort city of Da Lat to serve the 2013 Da Lat Culture and Tourism Week from December 27-31.
Addressing the launching ceremony, the Chairman of Lam Dong Province People’s Committee said that with a view to turning Da Lat into a tourism and resort urban, the free wifi service will not only work to popularize the “Culture – Tourism Week 2013” but also meet internet access needs of local people and visitors.
Twenty-four wifi spots, each accomodating simultaneous internet access for 10,000 users, began operating in the central area of the city, which includes the Da Lat market, the City Post Office, Flower Garden, Lam Vien Square and the provincial Centre for Trade, Investment and Tourism Promotion.
