Deputy Prime Minister meets outgoing Thai Ambassador

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh congratulated outgoing Thai Ambassador Panyarak Poolthup for his successful tenure in Vietnam during a reception in Hanoi.

He lauded the diplomat’s contributions to reinforcing the Vietnam-Thailand strategic partnership and cooperation between the two countries’ foreign ministries, and asked the ambassador to continue working to foster the friendship in his new position. 


The Deputy PM went on to underscore the importance of the relations with Thailand, saying Vietnam hopes to boost the ties further. 

Ambassador Panyarak Poolthup, in reply, expressed his appreciation for all the support he received from the Vietnamese Government and State agencies during his tenure. 

The guest affirmed that he will continue to promote the Vietnam-Thailand strategic partnership.
