According to the organising board, the International Fair on Environmentally Friendly Technologies 2016 (Ecotech Vietnam) will be organised from May 5-7.
The event, which is jointly chaired by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the National Trade and Advertising Joint Stock Company (VINEXAD), will take place in HCM City.
The event aims to contribute actively to the national strategy and action on green growth.
The organising board said about 100 companies, including foreign firms registered to participate in the event as of February.
Ecotech Vietnam 2016 will introduce various areas such as environmental technologies, agriculture, food processing, industry, construction, traffic-transportation, and energy.
In addition, seminars and conferences are expected to take place during the event.
Vietnam is moving towards sustainable development targets through boosting science and technology application research, and receiving transfers of technology from advanced countries.
