Exhibition of Ba Dinh district - the ‘historical land’ showcases capital milestones

On display are impressive photos related to the foundation and development of Ba Dinh district - the ‘heart’ of Hanoi, the capital.

A photo exhibition entitled “Ba Dinh - History - Innovation and Development” is on display at Quan Ngua Sports Palace in Lieu Giai ward, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi, celebrating the founding anniversaries of Ba Dinh district (May 31, 1961) and Ba Dinh Party Committee (June 6, 1961).

The exhibition to celebrate the 60th anniversaries of the founding of the district (May 31, 1961 - May 31, 2021) and the establishment of Ba Dinh district Party Committee (June 6, 1961 to June 6, 2021). 

The exhibition consists of three parts, including the images and documents introducing the history of Ba Dinh district – the sacred land which is home to the Thang Long Imperial Citadel; achieve photos portraying Ba Dinh district as a national political-administrative center; and the pictures of former and incumbent state and communist party’s leaders relating to the land and people of Ba Dinh district. 

A highlight of the exhibition is the photo set themed “Uncle Ho with people of Ba Dinh district”.

The exhibition is among a series of cultural events of Ba Dinh district to celebrate the 60th anniversaries of the founding of the district (May 31, 1961 - May 31, 2021) and the establishment of Ba Dinh district Party Committee (June 6, 1961 to June 6, 2021).

It also affirms the determination of the Party Committee, the authority and the people of Ba Dinh district to successfully implement the resolutions of the XIII Party Congress at all levels and the political tasks assigned by the city in the coming time.

The exhibition will last until May 7 with free admission.

The exhibition is devided into three parts of: history of Ba Dinh district; the district's achievements; and pictures of former and incumbent state and communist party’s leaders relating to the land and people of the district.
