Full moon book festival opens

The "Full moon book festival" takes place from September 26 to October 1 at Hanoi Book Street.

Hanoi Book Street is the venue for many traditional activities of the "Full Moon Book Festival on September 26-27, an event to create a folk cultural space during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

 Children enjoy  the festival.

The highlight of the festival was the story told through pictures and decorative images in the central square of Book Street with the theme of the Mid-Autumn Festival in the old time and today. It also shows the culture and lifestyle of Hanoian and Vietnamese people.

In addition, in response to the promotion month of Hanoi in 2020, bookstores at Book Street offered many attractive promotions of up to 50 per cent for all book. Readers can also participate in mini-games and the program "Magic Book Wish" to get lucky gifts in the Mid-Autumn Festival 2020.

In particular, in the time frame from 15:00 to 18:00 on September 26, children and their parents had an opportunity to participate in many typical folk games of the Mid-Autumn Festival such as: tug of war, decorating the five-star-shaped lamp, making fabric painting and many others.
