Canh assured that the capital's liberation day on October 10, 1954, was a shining milestone in the thousand-year history of Thang Long - Hanoi.

It marked the moment when Hanoi was liberated from its enemies and a new page was turned in the history of the capital and the country. This great revolutionary achievement was made possible by the contributions of generations of outstanding sons, families of merit, and people of distinction.

The official also expressed his gratitude and deep appreciation for the great contributions of the former youth volunteers, frontline volunteers, guerrillas, and heroic martyrs of the resistance war against French colonialism who contributed to the victory of Dien Bien Phu and directly participated in the liberation of the capital.

On behalf of the people of My Duc District, the leaders of My Duc wished Hoang Thi Ninh, Nguyen Thi Luong, Nguyen Thi Quyet, and their families good health, joy, happiness, and success in life.

Canh affirmed that the Party Committee, the Government, and the people of My Duc District always remember, to be grateful and take care of families with meritorious services, continuing the nation’s tradition of drinking water, remembering its source.

The official expressed the hope that the revolutionary families of meritorious people will continue to promote the revolutionary ethic, encourage their children and grandchildren to take part in national construction, educate the younger generation in the revolutionary tradition, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the capital.
