Vu Thu Ha, Deputy Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Committee, has approved a plan, in which two inter-agency inspection teams will assess safety standards at companies and construction sites in 2025.

The inspection, which will target 30 companies and construction projects across the city, checks compliance with legal requirements on workplace safety, hygiene, and fire prevention while identifying non-compliance and recommending possible administrative penalties.

The teams will also propose possible amendments to any local policies that are found to be inconsistent with national regulations.

The Hanoi Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs will oversee the process and report the city government workplace safety and fire prevention measures for strict enforcement.
