In 2020, Hanoi city has commended 88 excellent valedictorians who have graduated from universities and academies with impressive achievements.
Hanoi has identified attraction of talents in the country and from abroad as one of the three breakthroughs in the next five years in order to build the city into a major and examplary center of the country in education, high quality training and an example of international integration.

Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Ngo Van Quy made the statement at the ceremony held on September 7 to commend 88 excellent graduates from universities and higher education institutes in Hanoi in 2020.
“The city has a great expectation from the valedictorians and hope that they will always have a correct understanding, a pioneering attitude, a strong determination, an innovative thinking to contribute to the development of the capital city and the country,” said Mr. Quy.
In a solemn atmosphere, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue and other leaders of the city and central government awarded certificates of merit, logos and gifts to the best graduates of universities and institutes in the city in 2020.
This is the 18th year in a row Hanoi held a ceremony to honor the valedictorians of higher educational institutes in the city. After 18 years, 1,879 valedictorians have been honored. Many of them are successful in their career, making numerous contributions to the capital city and the country.
