Anchored by a lineup of high-profile musical performances, Hanoi Countdown 2026 is designed to create a sense of collective connection, as audiences bid farewell to the old year and step into 2026 with renewed energy and optimism.

A highlight of this year’s celebration is the debut of the “LED Bracelet of Connection,” an interactive feature that synchronizes light effects across the crowd. The technology is intended to bridge the gap between stage and audience, turning the countdown into a shared and immersive experience.

The music program brings together a diverse mix of well-known Vietnamese and international artists, spanning pop, hip-hop, and electronic music. Performers include MC Goku, Dong Hung, Ha Le, Van Mai Huong, Bui Cong Nam, Quan AP, LowG, tlinh, Wean Le, Karik, Hoa Minzy and international DJ Alan Walker.

Beyond the main stage, Hanoi will light up the night sky with synchronized fireworks displays at five locations across the city, each lasting 15 minutes. Viewing points include Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, the F1 race track at My Dinh Stadium, and Lac Long Quan Flower Garden in Tay Ho, offering residents and visitors multiple vantage points to welcome the New Year.

By combining contemporary music, large-scale light technology and traditional fireworks, Hanoi’s Countdown 2026 underscores the city’s ambition to deliver a memorable New Year’s Eve, reflecting both its modern energy and its role as a leading cultural and tourism hub in Vietnam.
