Hanoi, Denmark discuss cooperation potential in green urban development
In November, Denmark Crown Prince Frederik is scheduled to lead a delegation including businesses and policymakers to visit Vietnam and seek cooperation in green development.
Hanoi expects to become a modern, green and cultured urban city as part of its planning vision until 2030, and seeks to exchange experiences with Denmark in this regard.

Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Tran Sy Thanh gave the remarks during a meeting with Denmark Ambassador to Vietnam Nicolai Prytz on September 21.
At the meeting, Prytz expressed his delight at the strong progress of the Vietnam-Denmark relations.
Prytz shared that in November, Denmark Crown Prince Frederik is scheduled to lead a delegation including businesses and policymakers to visit Vietnam and seek cooperation in green development.
The ambassador expected to receive support from the local authorities during the Crown Prince’s visit and also upcoming activities of the embassy.
Prytz stressed in addition to economic values, Denmark businesses are expected to bring comprehensive and mutual benefits for all parties involved, as well as job opportunities and vocational training for locals.
He proposed both sides strengthen cooperation in other fields of culture, research, and education.
For his part, Hanoi’s mayor suggested that Vietnam-Denmark relations overall, and between Hanoi and Denmark’s localities, in particular, have progressed comprehensively in all spheres from diplomacy, economy, and agriculture to innovation.
Thanh added the city stands ready to cooperate with the Embassy of Denmark in holding diplomacy and cultural exchange activities.
