With the scale of 650-700 booths, Hanoi Gift Show 2017 will have the participation of 250 exhibitors from more than 30 provinces in Vietnam and 8-10 countries in the world.
In 2014, the export value of Vietnamese handicrafts jumped 8% on-year to US$1.6 billion, accounting for one-fifth of world market share. However, Vietnam’s handicraft exports have just targeted the low-end markets and have not matched their full potential.
The fair aims at not only improving people’s awareness of cultural and economic values of Vietnamese hand-made traditional handicrafts, but also helping handicraft producers increase more income.
