The event is among a number of programs and plans to remove difficulties for businesses that the Hanoi People's Committee has mapped out in order to promote economic growth of the capital city.

The fairs attracted nearly 150 businesses and manufacturers from different fields such as consumer goods, industrial products, products of handicraft villages and OCOP (One Commune, One Product), agro-forestry and fishery commodities and safe and organic foods.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade Tran Thi Phuong Lan emphasized that the fair provides an opportunity for local businesses  to strongly promote and introduce branded product, organize trade promotion activities, as well as offer Vietnamese goods to  people and tourists in Hanoi.

These are specific activities and practical solutions to remove difficulties as well as create conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to promote their business activities, contributing to growth and ensuring social security in the city, Lan said.
