The Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports is requested to annually compile data on the changes of these classified relics; review every five years and submit to the municipal People's Committee the approval of the adjustment and addition of the list of relics.

The district-level people's committees shall manage the classified relics and ensure compliance with laws on the management, protection, and promotion of the value of historical and cultural relics and scenic spots in the Hanoi.

On October 11, 2024, Vu Thu Ha, Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People's Committee, signed Plan No. 294 on preserving and promoting cultural heritage values in the city until 2025 and beyond.

The plan called on the authorities to focus on the rehabilitation of special national relics, national relic clusters, and city-level relics in the same geographical area with close links in history, culture, science, and aesthetics to form a complex.

In this way, the city government can implement the roadmap for the restoration and beautification of historical and cultural relics, relics with architectural and artistic values, scenic spots and national relics, and urban relics with typical values.

The plan also sets out to focus on implementing projects to improve exhibitions, upgrade equipment and display systems of museums in Hanoi, apply information technology, and improve human resources to promote cultural heritage.
