The gift program will be distributed across three levels. The highest amount, valued at $200 per person, will be provided to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, individuals involved in revolutionary activities before January 1, 1945, and those who joined the movement from that date until the August Revolution.
Recipients in the second category will receive $80 each. This group includes war heroes, individuals with war-related disabilities of 21% or more, those suffering from illness due to war service with a disability level above 41%, and those awarded the "The Fatherland Acknowledges" Medal or Certificate.
The third group will receive $40 per person. These gifts are designated for individuals assigned to care for the worship of martyrs, with one gift allocated for each martyr commemorated.
In addition to individual recipients, the city will present tribute gifts worth $630 each to 19 exemplary organizations.
The municipal Department of Home Affairs will work closely with relevant agencies and local authorities to coordinate the distribution process.
At the local level, ward and commune People's Committees are responsible for organizing and carrying out the distribution, with a focus on accuracy, transparency, and timeliness.
These efforts are part of the broader activities planned for the 80th National Day celebration.
Hanoi remains one of the leading cities in Vietnam in implementing policies that recognize and honor individuals who have contributed to national defense and development.
