Hanoi promotes “Outstanding Digital Technology Products” on iHaNoi app

This initiative aims to support Vietnam's digital tech enterprises and encourage competition amid the city's digital transformation and economic growth.

The Hanoi Times — The Hanoi Department of Science and Technology has urged agencies to strengthen the promotion of the "Outstanding Digital Technology Products" feature on iHaNoi, the capital's digital citizen application.

The initiative aims to boost market development for Vietnam's digital technology enterprises and foster healthy competition during the city's digital transformation and economic growth.

The section will allow residents, businesses, and organizations to select outstanding Vietnamese digital technology products for their digital transformation.

The "Outstanding Digital Technology Products" feature provides information on products and services that have been recognized annually through various awards, including the "Make in Vietnam" Digital Technology Product Awards, the Sao Khue Award, and Hanoi's Key Industrial Products Award.

These outstanding products and services are categorized into key sectors, including industry and construction; agriculture, natural resources and environment; transportation, post and logistics; education, healthcare, culture and society; and finance, banking, trade and services.

This move is being developed by the Department of Science and Technology in cooperation with the Hanoi Public Administration Service Center under the direction of the Hanoi People's Committee.

Local agencies and localities are required to promote the "Outstanding Digital Technology Products" feature on electronic information platforms and within the community's Zalo digital transformation groups.

Hanoi prioritizes the development of technology enterprises as a key focus in its smart city transformation plans.

Hanoi authorities have unveiled a plan to foster the growth of Vietnamese digital technology enterprises in the capital by 2025. The plan focuses on promoting local brands, boosting domestic consumption, and supporting the export of technology products and services.
