Hanoi: Spring in full bloom at Ly Thai To Flower Garden

THE HANOI TIMES For the first time ever, a large spring flower gardent has opened at the Ly Thai To Flower Garden in Hoan Kiem Lake Pedestrian Street, attracting large crowds for visit and photos.

Theme “Spring of a New Era,” this wonderful display blending the nostalgic charm of ancient Thang Long with modern aesthetics will last until March 3 (the 15th day of the first lunar month).

The highlight of this year’s event is more than 300 peach blossom trees in various forms like ancient trees, artistically shaped ones and naturally grown branches collected from northern provinces and from Hanoi’s well-known flower villages, including Nhat Tan, Phu Thuong and Tu Lien.

Visitors have a rare chance to admire unique peach blossom works from many northern provinces like the pink blossoms from Hai Duong, light pink varieties from Nam Dinh, white blossoms from Lang Son, as well as wild peach trees from Sa Pa Highland and Moc Chau Plateau.
