Hanoi streets come alive on New Year’s Eve

Countdown 2025 is the most awaited event for young people to bid farewell to 2024 and welcome the new year.

As the New Year approaches, the heart of Hanoi has come alive with festive energy.

The city will celebrate the arrival of 2025 with a music festival and countdown event on the evening of December 31, taking place at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square and August Revolution Square.

Fireworks displays will light up the skies at five locations across Hanoi, including Hoan Kiem, Ha Dong, Nam Tu Liem, Son Tay, and Dong Anh. The shows will last for 15 minutes, from midnight to 12:15 am on January 1, 2025.
