Hanoi streets splashed with color in celebration of CPV's 95th anniversary

The streets of Hanoi are aglow with color as the city celebrates the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025).

On this monumental day, February 3, the streets of Hanoi were decorated with red flags, banners, slogans, posters, and giant panels to mark this important milestone, bringing a vibrant energy to the city.

The 95 years of the Communist Party of Vietnam's founding and development have been an incredible journey filled with remarkable achievements. The Party's leadership has been the decisive force in leading Vietnam to independence, unification, innovation, development and international integration - setting the course for national prosperity in the modern era.

The emergence of the Communist Party of Vietnam was both a necessary ideological and strategic response to the absence of a capable national salvation force under colonial rule, paving the way for Vietnam's path to independence and sovereignty.

From the heart of the city to the suburbs, the joyful atmosphere reflects a deep sense of unity, pride, and unwavering faith in the Party's leadership.
Large posters commemorating the founding of the Communist Party proudly adorn the headquarters of the Hanoi People's Committee.
Bright red flags and banners dot the lush green streets.
Along major streets like Hoang Dieu, Hung Vuong, Dinh Tien Hoang, Trang Tien and Pham Van Dong, posters can also be seen.
Ba Dinh Square, the site of President Ho Chi Minh's declaration of Vietnam's independence in 1945, is adorned with additional red flags and banners, adding to the significance of the historic occasion.
Large billboards with welcoming slogans and propaganda images are prominently displayed at key locations such as Ba Dinh Square, Hoan Kiem Lake, the Friendship Cultural Palace and the Parliament Building.
The youth-led "I Love My Fatherland" project, set up on Au Trieu Street in Hang Trong District, consists of decorating the road with thousands of party and national flags.
The national flags that are draped over the streets and alleys evoke a deep sense of pride and patriotism in every Vietnamese.

A Hanoi resident says, "Every time we celebrate the Party's founding anniversary, I feel a sense of pride when I see Hanoi lit up with flags and flowers. It's an opportunity for the younger generation to gain a deeper understanding of our nation's history and the Party's role in our struggle for independence and national development.
