State Funeral held for Communist Party Chief Nguyen Phu Trong

The Party Leader's lifelong devotion to the nation and frugal lifestyle earns him popular respect.

The ceremony was attended by Vietnam's top leaders, former leaders, international friends, and Vietnamese people who pay tribute to the Party leader for his lifelong dedication to the nation and frugal lifestyle.

The General Secretary observes the four-virtue spirit: diligence, thrift, integrity, and righteousness initiated by President Ho Chi Minh.

The Hanoi Times' reporters offer readers an overview of the funeral.
