IAOP selected FPT as one of top IT outsourcing companies

Vietnam’s FPT Software company has been listed among the top 100 service outsourcing providers in the world by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP).

FPT software is the first Vietnam-based company selected by IAOP for its excellent performance in all four survey assessment categories: size and growth rate, customer satisfaction, organisational competency and management capability.

IAOP affirmed FPT software as a leading IT outsourcing company, besides other renowned firms such as Accenture, Capgemini and Neusoft.

Nguyen Thanh Lam, the company’s Chief Executive Officer said the recognition proves that Vietnam can build a global standard company with its domestic engineers and managers.

This is a milestone for Vietnam’s software industry to officially enter the global arena, which is full of opportunities as well as challenges, he added.

Established in 1988, FPT Software is a division of FPT Corporation, a leading information and communication technology group in Vietnam.

The firm earned more than 100 million USD from software services export last year. In 2014, it plans to recruit 2,500 more employees and increase its turnover around 30 percent higher than last year, with the expectation of having 10,000 employees and 200 million USD in turnover in 2016.

Last year, FPT software was recognised by IAOP as one of the 10 best companies operating in Japan and among the 10 best leaders in South East Asia.
