iHaNoi garners over 9 million hits in three months

The iHaNoi app enables locals to report issues to the authorities and collaborate with them to find effective solutions.

Since its launch three months ago, the iHaNoi application has garnered more than 1.1 million registered accounts and has been accessed over nine million times, according to the Hanoi People's Committee.

During the three quarters, more than 12,000 feedback and complaints were submitted through the iHaNoi platform, with 80% of which were addressed by local authorities.

Meanwhile, nearly 60% of users expressed satisfaction with handling their concerns.

During Typhoon Yagi from September 6 to 11, the app received 110 reports related to the storm, flooding, and fallen trees, and authorities responded to 92% of the cases.

Through iHaNoi, the city posted 315 updates on storm preparedness and response measures, and timely communication with residents. The app also provides real-time information on flooding and traffic conditions through a network of traffic cameras.

In addition, moments of residents helping each other during the crisis, captured by traffic cameras, were shared on social media, promoting solidarity among Hanoi's citizens.

According to the local government, the app helps residents monitor issues and collaborate with authorities to address them.

"This demonstrates the positive impact of digital transformation in increasing government efficiency and improving the lives of citizens," the report said.

In the remainder of 2024, the local authorities plan to incorporate more features and applications into the app for residents and businesses, including bus tracking, parking maps, a chatbot, an online payment platform, and a system for receiving complaints and suggestions.
