Speaking at the event, Hoang Anh said that the July Charity Program was initiated by former Editor-in-Chief of Kinh te & Do thi Newspaper Ta Viet Anh, a veteran who once fought on the Quang Tri battlefield. Since its inception in 2012, the program has been a joint effort between the two newspapers, and has become an annual event with great humanitarian significance.

For over 13 years, the program has provided thousands of gifts to welfare families, veterans, and disadvantaged students in Quang Tri, serving as a channel for media, businesses, organizations, and individuals to express their heartfelt gratitude to this land of proud revolutionary heritage.

In 2025, the program offers 150 gift packages to underprivileged students in Gio Linh and Trieu Phong districts. In addition, the program will provide two computers for two outstanding students facing exceptional challenges and 200 new shirts for students at Cua Viet Primary School in Gio Linh District.

Former Editor-in-Chief of the Kinh te & Do thi Newspaper, Ta Viet Anh, presents five gift packages to five outstanding students in difficult circumstances.

Truong Minh Thi, a 6th grade student at Trieu Do Primary and Secondary School in Trieu Phong District, spoke with emotion: "My mother is seriously ill and cannot work, while my brother has a congenital disability that prevents him from going to school. This meaningful gift from Kinh te & Do thi Newspaper and Quang Tri Newspaper has encouraged me much in life and study."

Nguyen Van Nghe, Director of the Gio Linh District Education and Training Division, expressed his appreciation for the support of the two newspapers and their sponsors in providing meaningful gifts to underprivileged students in Gio Linh and Trieu Phong. He emphasized that this initiative is not only a material support, but also a valuable source of encouragement for students to overcome difficulties and continue their studies.
