Leaders of the Party, State and Hanoi paid respect to President Ho Chi Minh

On September 1, representatives of the Party, State, National Assembly, and Vietnam Fatherland Front laid wreaths at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and fallen soldiers on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day.

The delegation included Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Tran Dai Quang, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and President of the VFF Central Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan, among others.

The leaders expressed their respect for and gratitude to Uncle Ho, who founded and developed the Communist Party of Viet Nam and made great contributions to Viet Nam’s revolution.

Offering flowers at the Monument to Heroes and Fallen Soldiers, the delegation paid one moment of silence in memory of the nation’s outstanding heroes who sacrificed their lives for national independence, freedom, unification, territorial integrity and for socialism and noble international duties.

* The same day, the delegation of Hanoi Party Committee, People's Council, Hanoi Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also laid a wreath at the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, took similar activities to pay their respect to President Ho Chi Minh.

Joining the delegation, there were Hoang Trung Hai - Member of the Politburo and Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee; Ngo Thi Thanh Hang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Chung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Committee, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council, Dao Duc Toan - Deputy Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee.

The delegation of the Party, State, National Assembly, Government and Vietnam Fatherland Front at the mausoleum, venerate President Ho Chi Minh.
