The 2.9-kilometer bridge is a large-scale infrastructure project in Hanoi, featuring a distinctive crisscross cable-stayed design and a one-kilometer main span. It has six lanes for motor vehicles, two lanes for mixed use, and two pedestrian walkways. The bridge, from Nghi Tam Street in Tay Ho District to Truong Sa Street in Dong Anh and Long Bien Districts, provides direct access to the Hanoi-Thai Nguyen Expressway.

The entire route, including the approach roads, spans 11.5 kilometers.

Once operational, the bridge will reduce logistics costs, stimulate business activity, promote tourism, and provide new space for urban expansion. The project is expected to accelerate the transformation of Dong Anh District into a major cultural and service hub for the capital city and the country as a whole.

Tran Sy Thanh, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, speaks at the event.

Tran Sy Thanh, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, expressed his belief that the construction of the Tu Lien Bridge is expected to help the capital reach its economic growth target of 8% in 2025.
