The Ministry of Construction has been tasked with resolving obstacles to facilitate the project, while the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment is responsible for addressing river and air pollution.

The Ministry of Finance needs to adjust budget allocation guidelines to align with Hanoi’s special urban status and its newly restructured, two-tier government model.

The Ministry of Justice will collaborate with other ministries and government agencies to implement the Capital Law of 2024 and develop specific regulations for the Red River axis.

The prime minister also asked the ministries to respond to inquiries raised by the Hanoi Party Committee at the June 26 meeting between General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam and the Hanoi authorities.

All responses must be submitted to the prime minister by July 30 for submission to the general secretary.

The Red River axis is expected to transform Hanoi by enhancing its infrastructure, environment, and strategic urban planning.

At the meeting with General Secretary To Lam, the Hanoi Party Committee proposed the Central Committee and the government to improve existing laws and help Hanoi turn the Red River into a key urban development axis.
