Conferences, exhibitions, and festivals will be held to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925-2025) and the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Journalists Association.
THE HANOI TIMES — The Vietnam Journalists Association will hold a series of cultural activities to commemorate the anniversaries.
The events will be jointly organized by the Central Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization, the Office of the Party Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Journalists Association, the Hanoi People's Committee, and relevant authorities.
Other notable activities include the National Press Festival, exhibitions showcasing the achievements of 100 years of Vietnam's revolutionary press, to be held in Hanoi on June 19-21.

In addition, the National Press Forum will be held on June 19, and from this year on, the forum will be an annual event to discuss issues related to the daily practice of journalism. It is also a destination for meetings, discussions, and exchange of experiences among media executives, journalists, and media and technology experts.
The 19th National Press Awards Ceremony will be held on the evening of June 21 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace, Hanoi.
A special art program celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press will be held on June 21.
To mark the occasion, the Vietnam Journalists Association will organize trips to Guangzhou, China, where President Ho Chi Minh founded the Thanh Nien newspaper; to the National Historical Site of ATK Dinh Hoa in Thai Nguyen Province, where the Vietnam Journalists Association was founded, and the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School was based.
The national conference to take stock of the work of the Vietnam Journalists Association in 2024 will be held in Hanoi on April 21.
