Vietnam Airlines Group to increase service in upcoming Tet

The group has prepared pilots, flight attendants, aircraft as well as personnel and equipment as early as possible to ensure the best quality of service for passengers during the peak time of Tet holiday.

Vietnam Airlines Group, including National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and Vietnam Air Services Company (VASCO), is preparing to cater to millions of passengers from January 6 to February 5, 2023 in anticipation of increasing travel demands during peak season of Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday.

The group will increase the frequency of domestic flights between major cities of Hanoi, Danang, Ho Chi Minh City with cities and provinces across the country such as Haiphong, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Hue, Quy Nhon, Quang Nam, Pleiku, Da Lat, Buon Ma Thuot, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, among others.

In the international flight network, the routes with increasing service are those between Vietnam and Southeast Asian and Northeast Asian countries such as Singapore, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, South Korea, and between Vietnam and Australia.

The total number of international flights on this occasion would nearly double as countries and territories are increasingly loosening entry procedures.

The carrier has prepared pilots, flight attendants, aircraft as well as personnel and equipment as early as possible to ensure the best quality of service for passengers during the peak time of Tet holiday.

Tickets have been available for sale since August 15, 2022 on Vietnam Airlines' website, mobile application, ticket offices and official agents. Passengers are advised to book tickets via the group’s official channels such as websites or ticket agents, and request an invoice to avoid buying fake or overpriced tickets.

On this occasion, Vietnam Airlines launches promotional fares for passengers flying at the beginning of Tet when buying Business tickets from August 15, 2022 to January 31, 2023 and buying Economy tickets from August 15, 2022 until the end of Tet holiday.

Tickets may have conditions attached to departure times and prices may vary depending on flight availability.

For further information, passengers can access Vietnam Airlines and VASCO’s website at www.vietnamairlines.com or official Facebook page www.facebook.com/VietnamAirlines, or contact ticket agents, or customer support hotline 1900 1100. Pacific Airlines’ customers should access website www.pacificairlines.com, Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/PacificAirlinesFanpage, or contact the customer support hotline 1900 1550.

In order to save time, passengers should carry out check-in procedures in advance through telephone, website, mobile application or kiosks at airports.
