The Vietnam International Milk and Dairy Products Exhibition (Vietnam Dairy 2022), a business matching event to connect domestic and foreign enterprises, is taking place at the Hanoi International Exhibition Center.

The event attracted 200 booths from 150 exhibitors including Vinamilk, Friesland Campina, Nestle, Nutifood, Abbott, Vinasoy, and others to display milk, dairy products, raw materials and additives used in the dairy industry, processing, and packaging lines, dairy cow breeds, animal feed, veterinary medicine for dairy cows, food safety and quality management system.
Tran Quang Trung, Chairman of the Vietnam Dairy Association (VDA), said that despite being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, in the past two years, Vietnam's dairy market revenue reached an estimated VND113.7 trillion (US$4.9 billion) in 2020 and VND119.3 trillion ($5.1 billion) in 2021.
“This is an important trade promotion activity for domestic and international businesses to meet, exchange and seek partners, expand markets, strengthen investment cooperation in the dairy industry,” he underlined.
Vietnam's dairy industry is sustainably evolving towards modernity in a synchronized chain from raw material production to finished products, with high competitiveness, meeting the daily needs of consumers.
The event will run until June 4.
The country’s dairy products are being exported to 50 markets, including demanding ones such as Japan and China, earning the country a turnover of $300 million each year.
