French team wins Danang Fireworks Festival 2023

The French team emerged victorious at the final competition of the Danang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2023, with Italy coming in second place. The final competition, themed “Light up the borderless world,” took place on the evening of July 8 on the banks of the Han River, which aimed to promote unity and peace among countries after Covid-19.

The organizers presented the Innovation Award to the Polish team and Audience Award to the Finnish team. The four-day event featured eight international fireworks teams, providing stunning and impressive performances for domestic and international audiences.

PM approves US$2.53 billion ODA loans for Mekong Delta infrastructure projects

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has approved a plan to borrow US$2.53 billion in ODA loans for 16 sustainable and climate-resilient infrastructure projects in the Mekong Delta region and apply a mechanism to allocate 90% of the capital to these projects.

The Prime Minister gave his statement at a meeting to address difficulties and promote high-speed projects and ODA implementation in the Mekong Delta capital city Cantho on July 8. Six foreign development partners include ADB, AFD, KEXIM, KfW, JICA, and WB. These 16 projects were proposed by the ministries of Transport, and Agriculture and Rural Development, and 13 Mekong Delta provinces and cities.

 

Ninh Thuan commences US$190.3-million coastal urban project

The groundbreaking ceremony for the VND4.5-trillion (US$190.3 million) Dam Ca Na urban area project was held on July 8 in Phuoc Diem and Ca Na communes, Thuan Nam District, organized by the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan Province in collaboration with ACT Holdings JSC.

The project covers a land area of ​​64.46 hectares and will accommodate around 9,000 residents. The project is expected to be completed by December 2027.

Ministry of Public Security’s warning about "Timeshare
