The Global Children's Designathon 2024 with the theme "Make it Circular - Designing for a better future" last week awarded the winning team for the idea "Circular farm - Recycling CO2 on the farm" from Ban Mai School (Ha Dong District, Hanoi). The teams taking part in the competition presented innovative ideas with circular design models aimed at extending the life cycle, recovering materials and fuel and maximizing the value of discarded products. The ideas also focused on minimizing negative environmental impacts and reducing waste and pollution.

Dozens of countries to attend Vietnam's defence exhibition


Defence industry corporations from Russia, the US, Japan, South Korea and dozens of other countries and territories will participate in Vietnam's Defence Exhibition at Gia Lam Airport in Hanoi's Long Bien District from December 19-22. This information was confirmed at the exhibition promotion conference on April 20. The exhibition will also feature companies from India, Israel, Italy, Malaysia, France, Turkey, Sweden, Singapore, Serbia, Czech Republic, Spain, United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Taiwan (China) and Bulgaria. 

This year's exhibition will showcase combat vehicles, technological solutions, weapons, equipment for navy, army, air defence - air force, cyber warfare and technical logistics.

Vietnam detects over 124,000 fake websites impersonating agencies and organizations

The National Cyber Security Monitoring Center reported the existence of 124,579 fake websites impersonating agencies and organizations in March. These websites are used by malicious actors to deceive and harm people online, and seriously damage the reputation and brand of genuine agencies and organizations.

 

Logistics center to be built in Ho Chi Minh City's Hi-Tech Park


Ho Chi Minh City will start the construction of the Dry Port Logistics Center project in the city's Hi-Tech Park. The city will also draw up plans for logistics centers in Cat Lai, Long Binh and Linh Trung in Thu Duc City, and others in Cu Chi District and Hiep Phuoc and Tan Kien communes, according to the latest plan for the development of the city's logistics sector in 2024-2025, issued by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

Hanoi pilots issuance of judicial record cards via VneID


Starting today, the Hanoi Department of Justice will pilot the issuance of judicial record cards through the VNeID application for Vietnamese citizens who have an electronic identification account.

The judicial record card will be issued digitally (digitally signed by authorized persons and the city's Department of Justice) and will have the same legal value as a paper-based judicial record card. Once issued, the judicial record card will be available in the citizen's account on VNeID, the national public service portal, and the city's administrative procedure management information system.
