Vietnam honors Cuba's support for revolution

The photo exhibition "For Vietnam" is running until May 6 in Ho Chi Minh City to mark 65 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba (1960-2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South (1975-2025). Featuring 42 works of art, including propaganda posters by Cuban artists from the 1960s and 1970s, the event highlights Cuba's solidarity with Vietnam and strengthens the enduring friendship between the two nations.

Overseas Vietnamese pay tribute in Cu Chi on national reunification anniversary

Over 100 overseas Vietnamese from 25 countries joined a commemorative visit to Cu Chi District on April 28 to mark the 50th anniversary of national reunification. The visit included activities such as offering incense, handing out gifts to war victims and disadvantaged families, and visiting historical sites, helping to deepen ties between Vietnamese at home and abroad.

Vietnam's shrimp exports hit US$939 million in Q1

China was the top importer at US$288 million, followed by the United States at US$134 million and other markets like the EU, Japan, and South Korea. 

VNSTEEL sets annual production target of 10 million tons

Vietnam showcases green fashion at 6,000-booth fair

Vietnam showcased eco-friendly fashion made from coffee grounds, banana fiber, pineapple and lotus at the 2025 Hong Kong Fashion InStyle exhibition. These sustainable products, which attracted strong global interest, reflect Vietnam's commitment to green fashion and environmental protection, with proceeds supporting coral reef conservation. The event, which runs until April 30, features 6,000 booths from 30 countries.

Danang launches 2025 beach tourism season with cultural and eco-activities

Danang kicked off the annual "Danang Beach Tourism Season 2025" on April 29 under the theme "Blue Wave Dance", which runs until May 2. The event features sports, cultural and culinary activities at Son Tra Peninsula and other beaches while promoting environmental protection.
